Head of Digital Media
Brent Weinstein is a Partner and Head of Digital Media at UTA. Weinstein leads several teams of dedicated digital agents and executives across the agency’s Digital Talent, Digital Strategy and UTA Ventures divisions, working to create and identify opportunities for the agency's diverse roster of clients. Weinstein’s clients include many of the world’s biggest digital influencers, Fortune 100 corporations, large-scale event owners, and early-stage media and technology companies, several of which were incubated at UTA. Prior to UTA, Weinstein practiced corporate law, and is a graduate of the University of Southern California and the University of San Diego School of Law.
Head of Ventures
Sam Wick is a leading digital and entertainment executive. He currently leads UTA’s new venture group. He most recently was a key member of Maker Studios’ management team where he was responsible for the enterprise P&L, corporate development, business development and strategic partnerships. He has 20+ years of experience in the media and technology space including senior positions at MySpace, AOL, Mp3.com and Sony. During this time he was involved in M&A activity including financing and acquisitions of his companies.
Kosha Shah is an entertainment executive with an emphasis on strategy and business development across the expanding media and entertainment landscape. She joined the UTA mailroom in 2010, and was an agent in the scripted television group representing writers, directors and producers, before transitioning into her current role within the UTA Ventures group, focused primarily on the incubation and launch of internal business ventures across a variety of models and industries. Prior to joining UTA, Kosha spent 5+ years in management consulting and strategic planning, at The Monitor Group and subsequently at Mattel.
Andrew Farage is an entrepreneur and investor in the media and entertainment industries. Andrew has worked across UTA’s Digital Media team for 4 years and was on the founding team of UTA’s Venture Group in 2013. Andrew leads deal sourcing, diligence, and works closely with UTA’s portfolio companies on integration with the broader agency, post-investment. Prior to UTA, Andrew studied business & entertainment at USC, and co-founded a kart-racing startup with locations across the North East. Andrew has lectured classes at USC’s Marshall School of Business, and School of Cinematic Arts.
Andrew Sylvester is an Associate with UTA Ventures. Andrew previously worked in finance and corporate development at Zealot Networks, and in marketing and strategy at Dolby Laboratories. He began his career in economic consulting, advising Fortune 500 companies and their legal teams on antitrust, finance and IP matters. Andrew is a graduate of Pomona College and the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
